Musango Safari Camp

Musango Safari Camp is a small lodge on the Island of Musango, a few hundred metres from the southern shore of Lake Kariba.

The eight tents all have lake views, and public areas include a pool and a two-storey wooden building with a panoramic view. This lodge is an ideal base for exploring the lake, especially as the guides are recognized experts.

The most typical example is the head guide and owner of the lodge, Steve Edwards, who is a legend in the community of southern African guides, having served more than 18 years in the Department of National Parks and Wildlife Management and trained several generations of guides. On his retirement Steve created Musango Safari Camp where his guests enjoy his exceptional knowledge of the area and the wildlife.
