Mweya Safari Lodge

Mweya Safari Lodge is located on a Mweya peninsula in Uganda’s Queen Elizabeth National Park and is surrounded by the magical Rwenzori Mountains – the “Mountains of the Moon”.

The lodge offers visitors a spectacular experience of luxury in the wilderness with lovely common areas, including an excellent restaurant and bar and a swimming pool.

Accommodation comprises 37 en-suite cottages decorated in a “safari luxurious” style – with electronic safes, telephones, balcony doors and fans and en-suite bathrooms with hot water. From their private balcony overlooking the Kazinga Channel and Lake Edward, guests can watch the forest hogs grazing the grass outside, as well as spotting the odd curious hippo! For the guests who want to unwind and relax further, massage and other spa treatments are on offer at the Mweya Health Club.
