Tarangire River Camp

Tarangire River Camp is a beautiful camp located on top of a small cliff north of Tarangire National Park, making it an excellent base for game drives in the park, which has excellent wildlife viewing especially during the dry season from June to December.

The comfortable rooms are in bungalows mounted on platforms on stilts, spaced along the small cliff. They have terraces that offer a view on the park at any time and sometimes elephants come to drink in the river just below. The Maasai of the camp also offer walks to children to introduce them to bush skills and give them the opportunity to take part in competitions for which they will build their own bows and arrows.
