Botswana, with its surface area of 582,000 sqkm, is a predominantly flat and landlocked country bordered by South Africa, Namibia, Zambia and Zimbabwe. It has approximatively 2 million habitants, which corresponds to a fairly low density of population. This is largely explained by the geography of the country, as the Kalahari Desert covers up to 70% of its land surface. Two other major geographic features of Botswana lie respectively in the north-west and the north of the country: the Okavango Delta, one of the world’s largest inland deltas, and the Makgadikgadi Pan, a large salt pan that offers unique and outstanding experiences for visitors.
With such varied ecosystems, Botswana is home to a wide array of animals, and the country offers a plethora of varied safaris. This country promotes a very exclusive type of wildlife tourism with an emphasis on a limited number of visitors and luxurious lodges.
Our offer of safaris in this region is unique in that, while we offer a number of high-end lodges and camps for a luxurious experience, we also propose safaris in mobile camps that allow a deeper immersion, closer to nature, in these outstanding eco-systems.
