Northern Frontier District
The “Northern Frontier District” (or NFD) is Kenya’s most northern region. It remains inaccessible to most safaris in comparison to the rest of East Africa.
With such varied terrains and vegetation as green forests in the South in the Matthews Range, to deserts of red sand in the North, along the border with Ethiopia, the NFD offers landscapes of vast and extraordinary beauty.
