Tsavo West National Park

Tsavo West National Park is one of the largest national parks in Kenya with an area of 9,065 sqkm and magnificent scenery of mountains, swamps, lakes and springs. With Tsavo East they form an area of approx. 22,000 sqkm which represents a massive 4% of Kenya’s total land area.

Located south of the Nairobi – Mombasa road, Tsavo West offers rich and varied wildlife such as Eastern black rhinos, Cape buffalos, African bush elephants, hippos, Maasai giraffes, leopards and lions. There are also other smaller animals that can be spotted in the park such as bush babies, hartebeests, lesser kudus, etc, as well as several hundreds of varieties of birds.
