Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe
Departure from the United Kingdom in the morning for a flight to Entebbe.
Arrival at Entebbe International Airport in the evening. Meet and greet your driver and transfer to Boma Guest House for the night. Bed & Breakfast.
Day 2: From Entebbe to Lake Mburo National Park
After an early breakfast at 6:30am, departure from your lodge and drive to Mabamba Wetlands, about 50km west of the Entebbe area on the shores of Lake Victoria where an excursion on boat will introduce you to some of the most famous birds of Uganda.
After your boat drive, continue your journey by road, passing by the Uganda Equator where you will have the chance to stand in 2 hemispheres at the same time.
Picnic lunch “en route” and drive straight to Lake Mburo National Park (approx. 4 hours drive) for a game drive focused on the mammals and the birds of the park.
Arrival at Mihingo Lodge to settle into in your rooms and have dinner.

Day 3: Lake Mburo National Park
After your breakfast you will take part in a morning guided safari walk as these walks are one of the most alluring and unique activities of the park.
Walk anywhere in the park is permitted as long you as you are accompanied by an armed park ranger. This gives visitors the unique chance to get out and about and absorb the wonders of the African bush without the confines of a vehicle.
Lunch at at Mihingo Lodge.
In the afternoon, game drive in the park to discover other areas of this beautiful park.

Day 4: From Lake Mburo National Park to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After an early morning breakfast, depart the lodge for a boat ride where you are may see the following bird species; African Finfoot, Goliath Heron, Pied Kindfisher, Malachite Kingfisher, African Fish Eagle etc. Drive through the park to observe the game.
Later in the day, transfer by road to Queen Elizabeth National Park (approx. 4 hrs drive) arriving in the evening in time for dinner.

Day 5 and 6: Queen Elizabeth National Park
These two days are dedicated to wildlife observation and photography with morning and afternoon game drives in the park.
Depending on the amount of time you decide to dedicate to birds, you will have the choice of spending one entire day birding, and/or gracing yourself for a unique 2 hours boat cruise on the Kazinga channel, which joins Lake Edward to Lake George and is famous for the highest concentration of hippos in Africa. You may also encounter crocodiles, and countless birds on the shore, overhead and in the water of the channel. This is a pleasant boat ride where you may take some great pictures of elephants and buffaloes on shore, and hippos in the water.

Day 7: From Queen Elizabeth National Park to Kibale National Park
After your morning breakfast, drive to Kibale National Park (approx. 3 hours drive) and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the foothills of Mt Rwenzori as you follow its mystical ranges, past the British colonial copper mining town of Kasese, arriving in time for lunch.
Afternoon of game drive and exploration of Kibale Forest National Park.

Day 8: Kibale National Park
This morning after breakfast, our proposition is for you to go for a forest walk with chances of seeing more birds and primates in this forest.
After lunch, visit the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, a conservation project. The project is managed and operated by Community Based Organization KAFRED (Kibale Association For Rural and Environmental Development). KAFRED was formed in 1992 and through conservation of the swamp has achieved many important community development goals.

Day 9: From Kibale National Park to Semuliki National Park
After an early breakfast, transfer to Semuliki National park (approx. 3 hours drive) taking the road through Fort Portal Bundibugyo to reach the park. This route has beautiful “mountains of the moon” scenery as well as plantations.
Picnic lunch “en route” and arrival in the park for an afternoon of observation of wildlife and birds.

Day 10: Semuliki National Park
After breakfast enjoy a boat cruise on Lake Albert. This area is known for having many Shoebill Storks in addition to numerous other birds.
You will also be offered the possibility of taking part in a night game drive in the park.

Day 11: From Semuliki National Park to Entebbe
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Kasese airstrip for your scheduled flight back to Entebbe International Airport where you will transit and board your flight to your next destination or your return.
